Total Factor Productivity Growth of Vietnamese Enterprises by Sector and Region: Evidence from Panel Data Analysis

Total factor productivity growth (TFPG) is an important indicator evaluating the enterprise development model. The aim of this study to consider imbalance between TFPG and enterprises patterns sectors regions in Vietnam. results panel data analysis 2005–2018 show that Vietnamese mainly due increased capital, especially non-state sector Red River Delta. (TFP) was found be present inward foreign investment during five years 2014–2018. By comparison, state-owned fell sharply same period. Strong upward increases TFP were notable Northern Midlands Mountain areas, Mekong Delta, Southeast, while there a marked downward trend Central Highlands Highlands.
